Happy New Year

I have a been receiving a lot of new year wishes from my friends through emails, sms, orkut scraps and every possible means of communication.It is really worth appreciating the effort people put in wishing each other 365 days of Happiness. But that makes me think if it is really a significant thing to celebrate the New year with such fanfare.After all its just another day and apart from the year on the dateline changing nothing else really changes, just like new year resolutions
